Aims and Objectives Of AOTA Inc  

AIMS  

  • To disseminate information / training to orthopaedic technicians / technologist / orthopaedic assistant.
  • To increase knowledge, recognition and awareness of the responsibilities  associated with the practice of orthopaedic  technology
  • To provide necessary information and skills to improve work practices within the nationally accredited competency framework / international standards
  • To actively pursue and encourage professional development

OBJECTIVES  

To better enable AOTA members to:  

  • Identify the relevant gaps in their knowledge base
  • Develop better casting skills and standardise practices
  • Increase their understanding of accountability of practices
